For admission in Delhi University in Bachelors of Arts (Programme) course from a Science background there is a deduction of percentage which generally depends on the college you are applying for.
From your Best four subjects of 10+2 some percentage is deducted when you change stream in Delhi University, no matter what all subjects you had in your class 12th. The deduction lies between 2-3% in different colleges. Mainly most of the colleges prefer 2.5% but colleges like Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College process admission with 3% deduction.

For a general case to go graduation in say History, you can either do it from some private colleges or some government colleges like Delhi University, etc. The admission in private colleges and in government colleges in the courses you have mentioned is mostly on the basis of your 12th score.

For doing BAbin history you should score minimum 50 % marks in STD xii board in any stream from an recognized University. It is 3 years undergraduate course . It is popular course among arts stream.

BA program from DU, is of three years ug course. Each student has to choose two discipline papers that can not be changed during the course of three years, as per rules of DU. The student must pursue the same combination in all three years. A BA program student has liberty to study Economics, history, Geography, mathematics, sociology, psychology etc. For the first two years , the students attempts 12 core papers, with one discipline-specific core paper each in every semester. All ng with that the student also has to appear in a language paper every semester.
AECC - in the first two semesters , the student is offered courses in communication
( English/Hindi) or Environmental Science. This course is often decided by college for each semester.

see delhi university ba courses admission is based on 12th score, except b.a in economics course, now there is 80+ colleges is under delhi university, every year numerous students participate in the admission process, cutoff score varies as per the number of participants, students category , seat matrix.
