BSc (Hons) Horticulture is a four year full time course offered by Anand Agricultural University. Admission to the 70 seats of the course is granted based on the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Gujarat (GUJCET). The total fee of BSc (Hons) Horticulture is Rs. 1.10 lakhs (approximately).

It is difficult to get Horticulture seat for your KCET Rank, though you have not mentioned the Category you belong to Category and I have considered it as General Category and gave information related to it, based on previous years closing ranks and cutoffs and they may vary from year to year. So give a try by applying for counselling and if you won't get free seat then try for Management quota seats.

Horticulture has evolved into a variety of fields, including the development of decorative plants, the production of fruits and vegetables, the design and creation of public gardens, and so forth.
In agriculture, water rehabilitation projects, soil and fertiliser testing laboratories, transportation planning, archaeology, soil productivity, mine reclamation, wetlands, military manoeuvres, and landscape development, the position of a soil scientist is very desirable.
Crop consultants, wetland specialists, county conservationists, crop production specialists, watershed technicians, hydrologists, environmental technicians, etc. are all possible careers for course graduates.
