My Eapcet rank is 13,400. Can i get any AgBsc or horticulture seat in Government college? my caste is Bc-d.

Sree Student Expert 31st Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

It is difficult to get B.Sc Agriculture seat or Horticulture seat in Andhra Pradesh Government Colleges for your AP EAMCET Rank, based on previous year's Closing Ranks. You can try for seat through counseling or can go for normal seat or Management quota seat in good Colleges.

Cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, etc.

To predict Colleges based on AP EAMCET Rank, use below mentioned College Predictor Tool

Hello, I completed my bsc Horticulture in government Autonomous College which is 3 years course without icar certificate am i eligible for msc horticulture.

bhumika tiwari 28th Jun, 2022

Hi there.

It is a two-year Postgraduate Level programme.

Plant breeding, seed technology, plant cultivation, Plant Physiology, and Biochemistry are among the topics covered in the M.Sc. Horticulture curriculum. Just like the B.Sc. Horticulture degree, it is all about applying principles from Physical Science, Biology, and Technology to increase plant cultivation and production in terms of yield.

A bachelor's degree in Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture, or equivalent from a recognised institute is required to apply for the Msc in Horticulture.

The candidate must have at least a 50% average in their graduating degree.

Hello,

As you have to apply for further studies in the above mentioned university, so the first thing is that for all the university the application process are different as the division of seats decide the way of admission hence, it won’t be possible to give you complete correct data regarding admission process but for that information you can contact the college officials and get your all doubt clear.

Thank you..

Nisha yadav 26th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you can do a Ph.D. in biotechnology or biochemistry as horticulture is also a biology-related subject. since they both belong to the same stream. The common eligibility for Ph.D. is MSC and BSc from any of the Biological sciences.

Thank you.
