I completed my HSC in science field and now doing my graduation in b.a because i wanted to learn psychology. this is my 2nd year in b.a. but after completion of b.a i also want to do bsc in nutrition and dietics. Am i capable of doing that after 3 years gap in science field?

anirudha vats 10th Apr, 2021

Hey,

I believe there is no such thing that you can't do a BSC degree after three years of gap untill the college you want to take admission in specifically mentions that.

You can easily pursue your Bsc in nutrition form any college after completing you BA. People do take gap from studies and then rejoin college after two or three years of gap.

Just fill the form of college you want to take admission in and then if you qualified for admission you are good to go.

Hope that helps.

All the best.

Thank you.

i got less than 60% in HSC I wanted to do microbiology will I be eligible for pursuing this course in good college in chennai? like BHARAT INSTITUTE, Sri Ramachandra like that?

Atif Ali 8th Apr, 2021

Hello,

I assume you must have scored somewhere between 55-60 percent. This percent is not very bad. If you're willing to take admission into Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research then for all the B.Sc Course admission will be based on merit list based on the Qualifying exam, you don't need to appear for any entrance exam somehow if you're willing to take admission into B.sc Agricultural then only for this course you have to appear for entrance exam called BEEE.

The minimum percentage that is required to fill the application form for B.Sc Microbiology is 50 percent. And you must have scored more than that so can apply. But there are lot of colleges do exists in Tamilnadu whose eligibility criteria is just 45 percent like Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science.

To know more about Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, please go through this link

Good Luck.

my mark in HSC was 53.6 and for pursuing microbiology it is 50% but will I be able to get admission in BIhar college in chennai?

NAVNEET PANDEY 9th Apr, 2021

Hello Malavika

The eligibility for microbiology is candidate should have score aggregate marks of 50% in 12th boards examination with Science.so you can apply in colleges and entrance examination for universities

You can give entrance examination and can get admission on the basis of your rank,

Do merit based admission, your percentage is very low and there are very few chances of admission in a good University or college.

I hope it helps

Best of luck

Abir Gayen 6th Apr, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Chances are quite moderate since your 12th board percentages is quite less and the competition is usually high for this university. However you have to wait till they releases the name list and considers your application since the university generally dont releases the intake marks required.
