Hello,

You can reach your school or college administration office and let them know that there is a discrepancy in your certificate. You may have to carry government photo ID card, admit card and you may have to provide your details. You may have to pay an additional fee for a new certificate. I am st category my hsc score phy 61 chem54and bio 67 I am eligible for neet

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2020
Hello

Neet eligibility  criteria says that,
to be eligible  you must have passed your 12th with English and PCB (pass in both the theory and practical )  with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th  examination  if you belong to general category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st .

So , being from ST category you need at least 40% aggregate in PCB to be eligible

Now,
Your aggregate in PCB is
61+54+67
= 182
=(182/300*100 )%
=60.6% i.e greater than 40% , so you fulfil above aforesaid % requirement and thus you are eligible for neet examination

For detailed information about neet examination go through our page for which link is provided below; -

Naveen Reddy 17th Aug, 2020

From 55% to 65% marks in class 12, the weightage points will go upto 3. However maximum weightage of 10 points will be awarded by IIM Ahmedabad, if you have scored 90% or above marks.

Many entrance exams in India are a gateway to admission in the undergraduate courses of Indian Institutes of Management. IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak offer a five-year integrated course in management for undergraduate students.

I did my schooling at the Maharashtra state board(hsc)for my 12th i studied English ,pcmb, biology and environmental science as subjects. What subjects can i use to satisfy the 75 percent eligibility criteria for jee mains colleges (i want to exclude biology) or is it the overall of all 7 subjects?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2020

Hello

First of all there's no percentage barrier to be eligible for JEE mains dear so you don't need to bother about it at all.

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , jee advanced( for iits) one needs at least  75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least  65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or  must be in the top 20 percentile in  class 12 examination.

Only 5 Subjects are to be considered for calculating this aggregate percentage and these are :-

*Physics

*Chemistry

*Mathematics

*A language

*Any subject other than listed above

I got 400/650 in 12th HSC Maharashtra 2020. I am in GEN quota. Am I in Top 20 Percentile or not? Will I be able to join IIT/NIT. What shall I do now? P.S. I am also appearing for NEET. Am I eligible for NEET? Will I be eligible for any government colleges if I score good marks in NEET?

Samarth Jain 16th Jul, 2020

I don't know if you are in top 20 percentile or not, but if you have Maths as the subject, and score good in JEE, then you can get into IIT, NIT.

And yes you are eligible for NEET as you have scored more than 50% and if you have Biology as a subject.

Also 12th marks are not a big deciding factor. If you score good in Competitive exams like NEET or JEE, then you can definitely get a good college. But yes priority is given to the one with more marks in Class 10th and 12th.

hii sir but I not given the neet exam have neet exam on 13 September that marks are my 12th hsc board exam

Samarth Jain 16th Jul, 2020

I understand that, but for getting into medical courses, you should have 50% marks in your HSC exam.

"Medical me jane ke liye NEET Exam dena padhta hai. NEET Exam dene ke liye 50% marks hona zaroori hai 12th me"

Hope this helps!

hsc group qualify criteria category wise

Koyel Bagchi 20th Jul, 2020

Hello,

HSC is actually Higher Secondary Certificate.  Basically it is a combined pack of both class 11 and 12. There is no specific qualify criteria.  You just need to score minimum percentage in every to pass the exam. Rather the highest result and all kind of improved results are depends on your mode of preparation.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.
