  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Yes you can write IES paper if you have done engineering in electronic and instrumental engineering,but you should write it from electronics or electrical branches whatever that intresets you.

Infact any student can write this exam.

Yes,electronics and instrumental engineering student can write IES exam but they must be written from electric or electronics communication branches.

Actually any student can write IES exam but from electrical electronical civil branches.

i think bv pune is the best out of all in terms of infrastucture, placement, campus and overall future. infrastructure wise BVCOE has all the amenities. they have 5–6 canteens serving good cheap food. Every room has A/C, clean cool drinking water, well equipped labs and fully functional

The Top 20 percentile is calculated by taking into account the marks of FIVE subjects-

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Any Language, like English
  • Any optional subject, like CSC or IP 

Now, the total is calculated out of 500 marks obtained in the FIVE subjects mentioned above and a list

Educational qualification for IES Exam is as follows:

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent (B.E/B.Tech)

B.E/B.Tech Branches - Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering

  • An MSc degree or equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as
