IIM
Hi there,
The answer might be controversial regarding the IIM and other colleges for MBA in India.
See, you might see the difference in the education system of the college IIM and the same scenarios in regular MBA colleges.
To be honest, IIMs are best and provides decent placements along with a nice environment for growth and development of a student. You will also be able to get good packages. The average packages here is around 25 lakhs to crore. It completely depend upon the skills of an individual.
Higher the skill set better will be the placement opportunities.
Also, talking about regular MBA colleges, there is no such fixed criteria about the placements and packages.
Only very few candidates recieve good salary packages
Hope this answer will help you.
Thank you and very good luck!!!
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So with regard to your query, NO not at all. IIMs does not have any kind of management quota seats nor it grants direct admissions to the students. You can only get seat in IIMs through CAT exam only. CAT exam is generally conducted every year, after qualifying through the exam, and scoring marks, then only basing upon the cutoffs you will be able to get seat in any of the IIMs across India.

Hello Prashant,
Hope you are doing well !
First of all, congratulations, you have a really good profile. But to get in an IIM you must score a good percentile in CAT, and also clear the interview.
Though, in my opinion, you can get an IIM. Just focus on your CAT, and after that your GDPI.
Hope I answered your query.
Wish you all the best !

As you can see, the employment options vary greatly depending on the field you choose.
Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations are the most common core fields in MBA programmes.
After completing your two-year PGDM degree at an IIM, you will have a limitless number of opportunities to apply for upcoming organisations in whichever industry you choose.
They usually offer you management trainee roles in organisations at first, and after a brief training period, you are promoted to management positions. People frequently move horizontally between domains, such as marketing professionals moving into HR roles after a period of work experience, and so on.
There are also other options for you to be an entrepreneur and start your own business.

Admission in these colleges will be based on scores of IPMAT and PI/WAT.
