Though IIM Ahmedabad offers an Post Graduate Program(PGP) in Food and Agri-Business Management(FABM) the expected cut-off percentile is 80-85 percentile.
Hope my answer was helpful.
Thank you.
Hello aspirant,
It is well said , " Scope means not the height career had achieved, it means the height to which you can make your career reach. "
If you are interested in public services and want to help others, you can go for MBBS.
If you are interested in corporate job, entrepreneurship, business and more, go for BBA AND MBA.
Both fields are very good. If you still have confusion, go for career counselling test online or offline. You can also talk to your teachers and parents.
If you don't want to do either, write down your thoughts mentioning what you don't want to do, you will automatically know what to do.
All the best.
See fi you are aiming for an MBA, then I would like to tell you that taking mathematics will open up a lot more options for you in the long run. Many of the key sectors which employ MBAs demand a mathematics oriented person like Finance, Investment Banking etc. Not taking maths while you still can will close doors for you, so I would like to suggest you to take up maths in class XIth.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hello,
The CAT test is the initial requirement for admission to the IIMs. The Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview are the following phases (PI). The WAT and PI are the primary selection factors for admission to IIM MBA. They take place following the release of the CAT results. Candidates are shortlisted for WAT and PI if they fulfil the CAT cutoff. Final admission decisions are made based on a candidate's entire profile, which includes their CAT, academic, work, and category scores as well as their WAT and PI scores.
Look at the IIM's qualifying requirements below:
So, you are eligible to apply for CAT to get into IIM.
There are so many IIM and you are eligible for all if you CAT cutoff is above 90.
IIM colleges like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode and many more.
Try hard and give your best to clear CAT and personal interview.
Best Wishes for your future.
Thank You
You have a poor scholastic record however getting 80% or above in graduation won't help all things considered. On the off chance that you figured out how to score a high percentile in CAT, you can get a call from New and baby IIMs as they don't search for the past scholarly record while thinking about a call.
Be that as it may, you'll confront trouble at the hour of the interview, they might request that you legitimize your scholastic record. So you need to perform well in the meetings. Do affirmation courses and internships to construct your profile and don't get disheartened by past academic records.
You might get a call from some IIMs assuming you score awesome percentile in CAT. After that performs well in GD-PI as it has around 40% weightage in computing composite score.
Some IIMs are exceptionally chivalrous about the general profile so it might diminish your possibilities yet you can in any case attempt.
Simply relax!
There are different other great universities like FMS, IIFT, and so forth that give less weightage to past scholastics. Give different tests like XAT, IIFT, NMAT, and so forth.
All the best!

Hi ,
Yes, there are PWD quota for students in Cat . They need to score less percentile as compared to other general students. Also , he is having a good profile , like passed from SRCC , worked in an MNC , So , your son will have a great advantage as compared to other students . Even other exams like IIFT , SNAP do have a reservation for PWD students.
Dear Aspirant,
Yes, if you get above 98%ile then you can get a call from the top IIMs because you have a great score in your graduation as well. But it also depends on your gender and your category. For example, you’re a non engineer so you can get calls at 98%ile too. But if you’re not from general category then you can get calls at a lower percentile as well. So be sure to check the cutoffs of the colleges you’re targeting according to the category you belong to.
Hello Aspirant,
You have a good academic background. You may get a call from IIMs. When the CAT exam is over, all IIMs ready a merit list for the eligible learners for the following round of interviews established on their total score which includes many factors like CAT score, 10th, 12th and graduation score, working knowledge, engineering background or non-engineering background, gender and the influence of these factors on merit list is different for distinct IIMs. If you achieve the 96 percentile, there is a decent likelihood of getting calls from senior IIMs for example, IIM Shillong. Other IIMs you are likely to get a call are IIM Amritsar, IIM Nagpur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Kanpur, IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Raipur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Gaya and IIM Kashipur, IIM Rohtak for the PGPM program.
After you receive the message, then you are required to undergo the next round of WAT and interview. Your achievement in this session is significant for your nomination as completion of this round results in a fresh merit list established on the current total comprising of WAT and meeting scores which commonly contain the biggest weightage and CAT score. Hence, prepare well for the interview and next selection process.
Regards.
Your above scores are decent, but getting into an IIM also depends on your CAT score as well. The previous year cut off for the IIMs for SC categories which you can prefer are given below -
85 percentile - IIM Sambalpur, Nagpur
75 - IIM Bangaluru, Vishakhapatnam
70 - Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Lucknow
65- Udaipur
60 - Ranchi
55 - Calcutta
When the CAT exam is accomplished, all IIMs assemble a merit list for the suitable newcomers for the subsequent session of meetings founded on their cumulative achievement which involves varied conditions like CAT score, 10th, 12th and graduation total, working knowledge, engineering setting or non-engineering setting, gender and the status of these aspects on merit list is unique for distinct IIMs. The interview round is significant scoring round.
