IIM
Hi,
To get into IIM, you will have to appear for a entrance exam called Common Admission Test(CAT) . You can take it after completing your degree or in the final year of graduation as an appearing candidate . CAT is organised by IIMs in usually in the month of November or December every year. Based on the score of CAT and your academics from class 10 onwards you will be called for Interview and GDs from different IIMs .
CAT exam is divided into 3 sections:- Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data interpretation and Logical reasoning (DILR), Verbal ability and Reading comprehension (VARC).
Quant syllabus mainly includes topics from class 6th—10th like, geometry, algebra, number system, arithmetic etc.
Logical reasoning section is very generic and a wide variety of questions based on seating arrangement, directions, etc are included. Data interpretation section includes questions mostly based on graphs and tables.
In VARC section, comprehension passages are given followed by a few questions. Apart from that a few grammar based questions like, parajumbles, odd one out, sentence completion, para summary, etc are asked.
The examination has a three hour pattern, each section allotted equal time. Each section needs equal amount of practice and hardwork as alongwith examination cutoff, there is sectional cutoff as well.
Hope it helps.

Hope it helps ,

hey there bud,
the whole fees situation might seem like a pickle but dont worry . because of the brand value of IIMs, BANKS came to a rescue by providing educational loans free of collateral only for iim students.(you may want to see SBI SCHOLER LOAN list for this)
IIMS might seem little pricey but the return on investment is worth every penny.
thank you
visit iim's official site for more info relating to the loan .
The answer to this question can vary from person to person but according to me if you a chance and you get selected for PGP program at IIM then you should go for it But first you should ask yourselves that where your interest is aligned. For ex whether you are liking your job, what responsibilities you have at present and what is your aim . If you believe that this will help you to achieve your dream then you should give it a chance. Even after that you will enter into corporate field and will achieve numerous skills.

Hi aspirant,
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who win national higher education scholarships will no longer need to pay tuition fees up front to join the IITs, IIMs, NITs and other central universities.
At present, such students get the scholarships a few months after admissions, because of which many from poor families fail to arrange the required funds and can’t be admitted.
The HRD ministry has now issued a directive under which such students will only have to submit an undertaking that they will deposit the fees after getting the scholarships.
Thank You.
