IIM setup different parameters for selection it includes class 10 and 12 percent and the percentage secured in graduation.

One of the parameter is work experience number is alloted according to the number of working years.more than 36 months working experience is preferable and gains good marks in final selection process.

You may get call from iim rohtak But it is not good as old iims.more than 95 percentile you have to secure to get in old iim's.

If you had given cat with seriousness then its good To take admission this year.if you are confident enough to get 95 percentile next year then you should take exam next year.

Since your academic profile is low you may nor receive any calls from the top IIMs like IIMA, IIMB, IIMC but you can expect calls from the IIMI, IIMR, IIMK, IIML and other top B schools too where Academics are not given much weight, given that you keep your score above 95 percentile in CAT.

There are a lot of other top MBA colleges in India that do not really look into a candidates academic profile and more weightage are given to other criteria which could be work experience, personal interview or even group discussions.

The Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur is one of the most recent IIMs, established to continue the legacy of the esteemed management institutions. Established in 2011 by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, the institute offers four programs, of which three are management courses in the postgraduate level while one is a PhD program.

IIM Kashipur, which was established under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow, has slowly but surely established its footing in the Indian business school industry.

The IIM Kashipur admission criteria 2022-24 includes qualifying CAT cut off percentile :

• General category students: 93 percentile
• NC-OBC candidates: 74 percentile
• SC candidates: 54 percentile
• SC and PwD candidates:  40 percentile.

IIM Kashipur admission is planned in a two-phase manner. The first phase includes shortlisting of candidates who meet the minimum CAT cut off criteria. In phase two, the shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the Personal Interview (PI) round. The PI round is expected to be conducted in February-March. The PI date and venue will be shared with the shortlisted students in email.

To be very honest you need to score a very high percentile in cat in order to get in the top iims like ahemdabad,Calcutta,lucknow, Bangalore, Kozhikode, indore and many more. So as peer my knowledge you need atleast 99.8+ in cat in order to crack these iims.

However iims like ranchi , rohtak can be available to you in lower percentiles but I would recommend you to keep your percentile as much as possible because there is certain weightage of 12th percentage in the interview round so that could play a crucial role. But it's quite possible to get ranchi, rohtak.

Yes IIM Bangalore has started shortlisting students for phase 1 but for the time being only pgpba calls are out, other calls can be announced soon. The IIMs which started shortlisting are IIM Amritsar, IIM Calcutta, IIM Rohtak, and IIM Vizag.
