IIM
In colleges like IIM Ahmedabad, its always the Competition between the best. Hence, though there might be exceptions or outliers, its always preferred you have a 85-90+ Grades in both 10th and 12th as well as a 8-8.5+ CGPA in your Respective University. Definitely this doesnt mean, youre out of Competition if youre Profile doesnt match with the Criteria, you can always make up with a Great CAT Score. However good grades in your 10/12/Graduation reflect your strength in Academics throughout School and Colleges and does add up to your profile be it in Calculation of Net Score or for a First Impression in eyes of interviewers.

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
You academic profile is very average and most liekly despite having work experience you wont likely to get shortlisted for the BLACKI. However you can try a shot for the new and baby IIMs. Thatswhy I should suggest you to get some work experience first. Them after 4-5 years doing MBA would be a better option.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Haave a great day!

Hello aspirant
hope you are doing great. As per your query I would glad to tell you that it is very difficult to compare the comparison of jee mains and cats which is required to get admission into IIT and IIMs. Both they have their separate admission crteria and different students from different streams . Jee mains is generally given by science students while cat is given by students of every stream and have people of more than 25 years of age . IIMS conducts Group discussion ,personal interview of the candidates who they call on the basis of cat score and IIts gives admission through jee mains and jee advanced. So you can say IIMS admission process is quite long and require hardwork on many things
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
