Hi Sourav,
IPMAT has two sections – Quantitative Ability (MCQs and Subjective) and Verbal Ability. The exam has 100 questions to be solved in 120 minutes. QA-MCQ section will have 40 questions, VA section will also have 40 questions and QA-Subjective section will have 20 questions. You will get 40 minutes for each section to solve all the questions. The sections are time-bound which means you have to solve the questions in the given time.
One of the best ways to prepare for the exam is by solving sample IPMAT test papers which are available right here - IPM Aptitude Test Sample Paper
Solving sample papers in a time-bound manner will give you an idea about the pattern of the exam and analyse your performance with each sample paper and work on your strong and weak areas accordingly.

Hello There ,
All the IIMs have different admission criterias.
The new IIMs have a little less cut off than the old IIMs. Some give preference to the class 10 and 12 and graduation marks , while others donnot . So it depends on the IIM you wish to go into .
