IIM Indore Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test
Hi Pranjali,
There is age limit to apply for IPMAT. Even if you fulfil the basic eligibility criteria i.e. minimum 60% in class X and XII for General/NC-OBC and 55% for SC/ST/PwD category, you would need to check the age limit. If you apply next year, the age limit would be 20 years as on July 31, 2019, for Gen/NC-OBC and 22 years for SC/ST/PwD. If you meet this criterion, you may apply for the test next year. However, you would definitely be asked about the two years of gap during the selection rounds. So, you would need to prepare the best possible answer. Know more about IPMAT eligibility criteria here.
Hope that’s helpful.
The IPMAT 2018 result has been already out.

Hi Priyanshu,
IPMAT and CAT are two completely different examinations. IPMAT is for undergraduates who wish to study at IIM Indore to pursue integrated management program after class XII while CAT is a post-graduate level MBA exam after graduation. So, both the exams have a completely different level of competency. So, ideally, the two cannot be compared.
IPMAT exam has questions from Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability for under-graduates while CAT exam covers Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning for graduates. From the test duration to the number of questions, sectional time limit to syllabus, everything is different.

dear student
For WAT
Begin your WAT preparation immediately as writing skill will take time to be groomed and improved. You will not be writing an essay on the topic which might have been known beforehand but would need the skill of extempore writing. Your essay will become the ground for interview questions also. You will be required to write in 20-25 minutes a well worded essay of 300-400 words that is supposed to be rich in contents, consistent in thought, coherent in flow and doesn’t go wayward.
For PI :-
GK and current affairs will be enough. Which you can prepare from books ad for current affairs daily newspapers such as ET and TOI will be good. You need to know frequently asked questions and their probable answers, How to respond to certain specific questions, what to wear, what to prepare, how to present yourself, how to enter and how to exit the interview room.
hope this helps
All the best!!!
