Candidates with more than 10 months of work experience only are eligible for the Lateral Recruitment process. Lateral Placements at IIMs starts a month or two before the final placements. The candidates selected by the companies for Lateral placement are offered senior and middle-management positions.

IITs and IIMs are the top most institutes in the country which produce exceptional students , which and this students gets placed in the top companies with very high packages , or they become successful enterpreneur , successful business men, become IAS or IPS officers or serve the country in many other ways , also in some cases they get placed abroad with very high packages , so indirectly they help a lot in growing the economy of the country , so the government is not going to stop funding these institutes completely , but as per the new instructions given by the HRD , no new IITs will be funded for making swimming pools , shopping complex , cafeteria , conventional hall with more than 500 seating capacity . But the government has not stopped funding for important things , so it is really hard for government to stop there fundings.

No. Until govt removed reservation, no IIM can remove reservation.

Reservation As per Government of India

• 27% of the seats are reserved for NC-OBC,
• 15% for SC,
• 7.5% for ST candidates,
• 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD),
• 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

That's really great to hear that even at age 35 you're so motivated to study further. You'll be glad to hear that yes you can give the CAT examination and complete your MBA course. There is no age restriction for appearing for the CAT exam. You just need the bachelor's degree which you possess and job experience doesn't matter for giving the cat examination.

The qualifying CAT cutoff for IIMs Banglore is 85 percentile. But the final cutoff for general candidates is nearly or above 99 percentile. So for getting seat in this college you must score at least 99 percentile.

To get admitted into any IIMs or any Top MBA colleges in India , the minimum CAT 2021 cutoff is expected to be 90 percentile.

For getting the college like IIMs you must score 99 percentile.

Student packages dependent on what course you do and how much marks you score but the least and worst package they can offer you is 3 lakh per annum. Which is really low and very rarely seen
