IIMs
Hello,
That entirely depends you're in which stage of your career, for example if you're a fresher, and wish to add these short term certifications pertaining to your domain then you can go ahead with these, this will add much weightage to your CV along with enhancing your knowledge base and thereby improving your skill sets, however if you're already a working professional with relative years of experiences, it's best that you can choose to go ahead with the executive courses as this will further help in your career advancements, and also in terms of better pay prospects.
Hi,
ISB's PGP and IIMA's PGP are very well known business programs. I can safely say that it makes no difference really that ISB or IIM offers a certificate instead of a diploma or degree. Simply graduating from ISB or IIM opens up a lot of doors in the Indian job market. Compared to ISB and IIM, Rotman does not have the same level of Brand recall in India. So, if you plan to come back at least immediate (1-2 years) after completing your MBA at Rotman, I wouldn't recommend it. If you plan to settle in Canada, Rotman does stand as one of the best in Canada and is a clear winner. Going from Canada to US will be an uphill battle and will not be easy like bb said. Both colleges feed almost 25 to 30% of their class into consulting. Personally don't think either college is at a stage where they are recognized well in the US market... Too many of the best MBA programs in the world are in the US. Ultimately, it comes down India vs Canada and where you want to spend your life after the program because both programs are among the best in their respective demographs.
Hope it helps.
Becoming a part of top IIM's will surely provide the needed exposure, learning, and most evidently quality education which will help you in getting into top companies which will give you great salary along with a great future.
hey there,
IIMS have been constantly ranked as a premier management schools in India. The colleges have been seen as INDIA'S IYVY LEAGUE .The programs have been painted in a way that students have crystal clear understanding of the concepts rather than book learning.
Investment banking IS definitely one of the most demanding career path which is highly pursued for great return in life.
other than this consulting and marketing are something which is in great catch.
but your life decision should be made according to your strengths not according to the placement, salary or college. try to match your interests with a course and go peruse it .
THANK YOU

The GMAT scores aren't specific for any IIM. The range usuallly varies betweem 690 to 760 with an average 720. The score also depends on various factors like female, male and armed applicants. There are also several students with GMAT scores above 700 and yet they weren't short listed. In case you have a scored of above 700, then you have a very high chance of getting in any IIM college.

Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!
No, there is nothing like girls quota/ relaxation in Cat exam, only gender diversity weightage is given by approximately all IIMs during GDPI to maintain male- female ratio in their campus.
Girls don't get relaxation in CAT cut-off as such. While calculating the composite cut-offs to short list the eligible candidates for personal interview, most of the IIMs add bonus marks to female candidates to improve the gender diversity in the class. So you get some benefit at that stage.
It may be noted that for preparing the final list after interview, no bonus marks are given to female candidates. So you should note that you get the benefit only for shortlisting the candidates list for interview and not for the next stage.
All the best!
Hope it will help!
Thank you!
Actually the cut off percentage required in IIM-A starts from 55% for science stream, 50% for commerce stream and 45% for arts and humanities stream. so, it is low when compared with the cut off marks of science stream but is more when compared with arts and humanities stream.
