i got 52 percentile and i am qualified to write advanced what mark should I get to get an NIT or IIT ?

Anurag Khanna 12th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

SRINITYA 12th Sep, 2020

Hello student,

Glad that you are safe and sound.A 15k rank in JEE advanced will be difficult to get a seat in IITs ,as only 10,000 seats are available. but don't get demotivated. You still have time for your exam.Keep preparing for it.Stay calm and stay positive. All the best

NILUTPOL Student Expert 12th Sep, 2020
Hello,
With your percentile in JEE Mains, you have almost no chances of getting a seat in any government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs. Even your OBC category rank won't be of any help here.

As you are thinking of dropping a year for preparing for JEE Mains

is 115804 air enough to get seat either in iit or nit??

Pratyaksha Goswami 9th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant

I do not like to say this and I am sorry to say this that your air rank falls considerably short for any NIT, generally your air should be around 10000  and you need to clear JEE advanced for IIT. Silver lining, you can choose many  other colleges
