IITs don't confine themselves to a particular course. There are various Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Research based programmes that each IIT offers in various departments. So we cannot generalise IIT Placements. Now there are few departments which are offered higher package than the others. These are CSE, ECE, IT, etc.
