Dear Dip
In order to get admission in IIT Delhi, the cut off is 400 for general category and 200 for OBC, SC and ST. For admission in IIT Madras, minimum rank should be around 657 for general category and 200 for OBC, SC and ST. For IIT Bombay, cutoff is around 743 for general category and 343 for SC, ST and OBC. For IIT Kharagpur, the closing rank is around 580 for general students and 300 for OBC, SC and ST. For II Guwahati, the closing rank is around 500 for general students and 100 for SC, ST and OBC. For IIT Patna, the cutoff GATE score is around 600 for general category and 200 for OBC, SC and ST.
Hence you must achieve a rank below 200 to get admission in top IITs.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.

GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.

Hello,
This is to inform you that since the year 2021 the 75% minimum board percentage but for the 2022, the case is not the same thus this year minimum 75% for general category students and 65% for ST/SC is mandatory in class 12th. hence this is the criteria mandatory for admission in IIT.
There are very less chances of you to get the admission in the seat. But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.
Yes, it is possible to only prepare for the JEE Advanced exams without looking forward to JEE Mains, assuming that you will clear the JEE Mains exams without a lot of hard work. It will be more complicated because JEE Mains and Advanced are both very conceptual exams and both exams require the candidate to solve the NCERT book based on concepts.
Here are some ways by which you can prepare for JEE-Advanced without looking forward to JEE-Mains.
