when does jnuceeb application starts

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 5th May, 2020
Shiva, at this point in time, the JNU CEEB application forms have not begun. They were scheduled to start in the month of April/May but as the lockdown has been extended until May 17th, it is highly unlikely that the applications will release anytime before that. So we need to wait for the current lockdown period to be over for any official notification. Pkease watch out for any such information on the officia website.

You must score 50-60 % as you are an OBC student for securing this college. The course duration will be 2 years with 4 semesters. You must give exams like

  1. GMAT
  2. MAT
  3. CAT

How sastra gives rank to Ap students as GPA system is introduced. on what basis of criteria they give rank for two students who got all 10 points in each subject

chinmayi 4th May, 2020

Hello,

The percentage is calculated and taken out for all the boards who have a CGPA system. The percentage is calculated as 9.5*CGPA. This percentage is further used in the admission process. The students who got more percentage will be given a seat.

The admission into SASTRA is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main percentage(best of two) + board exam marks (70% seats)

Stream 2: only board exam marks of a particular board(30% seats)

There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores more marks. If you had appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and your JEE main percentage is  good then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% only to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course in SASTRA. Iftwo persons get same board exam marks then they take JEE Mains percentage into consideration and then give the seat.

Hope this helps you.

got 88% in10th and 90% in 12th commerce student 82% in graduation how much percentile I need for iim ahemdabad

rajaman9300 Student Expert 3rd May, 2020

I will try to explain the whole process but keep in mind that you must need 99+ to get a call from IIM A.

Now coming to the weightage part, for Initial Shortlisting 10% weightage is given to class 10th same with 12th and Graduation which means 70% is given to CAT score.

For the final Selection GD and PI comes into play. Now only 12% weightage is given to 10th. 12th and Grad. and 30% to the CAT score. Remaining is given to GD and PI.
