University for rank 800k In north India

Samriddha Pal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Holding a NEET rank near 8,00,000 makes it very improbable to obtain an MBBS seat in a government medical college in North India, even with reserved categories, because of the exam's fierce competition. Nevertheless, certain private medical colleges and deemed universities in northern Indian states such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab might still accept these candidates through the management quota or NRI quota, where the cutoffs are much lower and admissions are more lenient although the fees are quite high (typically between 12–25 lakhs annually). Neet 2025 me mera score 399 hai category obc. Mai UP se hu.AIR 212382 category rank 101511.kya ye coll.mujhe mil skta hai?? Kya All india me khi bhi govt.college bams mujhe milega??

Avanishsree VP 3rd Jul, 2025

With 399 marks (OBC), AIR 2,12,382, and OBC rank 1,01,511 — chances for government BAMS colleges are very low in both the All India and UP State quota.
You may get a seat in private BAMS colleges.
For a government seat, aim 430+ in NEET 2026.

Sir , I am a SC candidate and have scored 326 in NEET 2025. My AIR is 373952 and All india community rank is 35181. Will I get a medical seat in Tamilnadu.

SHUBHANGI SINHA 6th Jul, 2025

Hello,

With a score of 326 on the NEET 2025, you are unlikely to be selected as a SC candidate for a government medical seat in Tamil Nadu. Government medical institutions in Tamilnadu of an have substantially higher cut offs, especially for reserved categories, even though your all India rank of 373952 and community rank of 35181 are within the range of mark taken into consideration for private colleges.

To increase your chances, be open to various universities, actually engage in the state counselling. In the event in that MBBS does not materialize, you can also think about BDS or AYUSH backup choices.

My all india rank is14650 what is my state cota rank?

OISHEE BANERJEE 2nd Jul, 2025

Your state quota rank is calculated based on the number of candidates from your state who appeared for the same exam and scored more than you. It is usually lower than your All India Rank if you're among the top scorers from your state. With an AIR of 14,650, your state rank will depend on your state of domicile, total number of candidates from that state, and your category.

You’ll be able to see your exact state quota rank once your state’s counselling authority publishes the merit list on their official portal.

My all india neet 2025 rank is 14650 would i can get admission in pgims rohtak haryana

OISHEE BANERJEE 2nd Jul, 2025

With an All India Rank of 14,650 in NEET 2025, your chances of getting admission to PGIMS Rohtak depend on a few key factors—most importantly, your category and whether you hold Haryana state domicile. If you are a General category candidate with Haryana domicile, your chances are moderate to good, as PGIMS Rohtak typically has a higher cutoff for general candidates, but state quota seats provide a significant advantage.

In previous years, candidates with ranks around 12,000–15,000 under the state quota have secured MBBS seats at PGIMS, especially in the later rounds. If you belong to a reserved category like OBC, SC, or EWS, your chances improve even further. Stay updated during the counseling process, participate in all rounds (including mop-up), and be flexible with preferences if needed.

Can you provide rank wise college list for all india MBBS quota

Ayush Madanpotra 2nd Jul, 2025

If you are looking for MBBS admission through the All India Quota (AIQ), the cutoff marks and ranks depend on the popularity and ranking of the college. For example, top colleges like AIIMS Delhi and MAMC Delhi have very high cutoff marks (above 690), while other government colleges in various states might accept ranks up to 15,000–20,000 under AIQ. If your NEET rank is below 3,000, you may get a seat in a good college through AIQ. As your rank increases, your chances may go down in central colleges but you can still try state counselling.

Is there any increase in the Gmc seats for kashmiri migrants in the particular states of India, if yes then how much is it and will it affect the cut off?

Afreen 3rd Jul, 2025

it's not clear whether there has been a recent nationwide increase in the overall number of GMC seats specifically reserved for Kashmiri migrants across all states. However, some information on existing reservations and concessions is available:

Reservation and Concessions for Kashmiri Migrants:

Some states have a provision for reservation for Kashmiri migrants in GMCs.

Up to 5% of seats may be reserved for wards of Kashmiri migrants in some universities and colleges, which are generally considered supernumerary (over and above the regular intake), meaning they shouldn't negatively impact the general category seats.

A relaxation of up to 10% in the cut-off marks for the general category is often offered, subject to the minimum eligibility requirements.

Domicile requirements may be waived for Kashmiri migrants.

Examples of States/Institutions with Existing Reservations/Concessions:

Delhi University: Provides up to 5% reservation.

Maharashtra: Reserves one seat in each stream of its engineering colleges and prepares a separate merit list based on JEE Mains or MH-CET scores.

Karnataka: Provides one seat in each college, with admission based on K-CET scores.

Gujarat: Reserves two seats in each college, based on academic score and JEE Mains results.

Haryana: Provides a minimum of three seats in each stream of its colleges, based on academic merit.

Punjab: Reserves one seat each in Thapar University, Punjab University, engineering colleges, and polytechnic colleges, based on JEE-Main scores.

Uttarakhand: Reserves a total of 18 medical seats (half for MBBS, half for BDS), with the merit list based on NEET scores.

Impact on Cut-off:

The provision for a 10% relaxation in the cut-off for Kashmiri migrants suggests that the required score for admission under this quota may be lower than the general category cut-off.

Important Considerations:

Policies can change: Keep in mind that admission policies and reservation quotas can be subject to change.

Contact institutions directly: For the most up-to-date and specific information, it is recommended to directly contact the concerned Government Medical Colleges and universities you are interested in applying to.

NEET UG eligibility: A self-declaration form for Kashmiri migrants allows participation in the 15% All-India Quota counselling and the 85% state quota counselling for Jammu and Kashmir.

In summary, while there isn't definitive proof of a nationwide increase, some states have specific reservations and concessions for Kashmiri migrants in GMCs, which generally include a lower cut-off and potentially increased seat intake, though the specifics can vary.
