India
If your CUET score isn’t as high as you’d hoped, don’t worry—numerous reputable BBA colleges across India, including in Jharkhand and Banaras, offer alternative pathways for admission or have more flexible criteria.
Let’s break it down by region:
- Amity University (multiple campuses)– Offers direct admission or considers Class 12 results.
- Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab- Known for strong industry connections; admissions aren’t solely based on CUET.
- Christ University (off-campus: Lavasa, Bannerghatta) – Somewhat relaxed cut-offs compared to the main campus.
- IMS Noida – For some categories, CUET isn’t mandatory; merit-based admissions are available.
- Sharda University, Greater Noida – Accepts lower CUET scores or evaluates candidates on other criteria.
- St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi -Highly regarded; may require moderate CUET marks.
- Amity University, Ranchi – Flexible with CUET or offers direct admission.
- Usha Martin University, Ranchi – Focuses on industry-relevant education.
- MGKVP (Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith)– State university; typically has less stringent CUET requirements.
- Arya Mahila PG College – Affiliated with BHU; BBA programs are accessible.
- School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi – Direct admissions with affordable fees.
A few practical suggestions:
- Private universities may conduct their own entrance exams or offer admission based on Class 12 performance—don’t limit yourself to CUET alone.
- State-level and self-financed institutions are often more accommodating with their criteria.
- The Careers360 College Predictor tool can help you identify suitable options based on your particulars.
If you’d like tailored recommendations, please share your CUET score, category, and preferred location. There are definitely pathways open to you, regardless of CUET marks. https://university.careers360.com/cuet-college-predictor

Hello Neha,
With a NEET 2025 score of 337, 84 percentile, an AIR of 344243, and an OBC rank of 164433, you may find it difficult to secure a government MBBS seat in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, or Kerala where OBC cutoffs generally higher in these states. You still have options in:
Always check with your State level counselling (like, KEA, TN Medical Selection etc.) for the latest cutoffs and seat matrix. Also watch out for Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds as cut off may drop a few points.
India have many people, many language, many food, some speak Hindi, some Tamil, all live together, eat different, dress different, still same heart.
Religion also many, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, all pray different, but respect each other, festival like Diwali, Eid, Holi, Christmas, all celebrate with joy
India full of colors, full of culture, all different, but live like one, that is beauty, that is India.
If she holds Aadhaar card and valid Indian documents, she will be treated as a local student for school admission, not as NRI.

Hello,
Both BSc Biotechnology and Pharm D are good, but they are different fields.
BSc Biotechnology is more about research, lab work, and industries like agriculture, food, and genetics. It is good if you want to work in labs or go for higher studies like MSc or PhD.
Pharm D is a professional doctor-level course. It is best if you want to become a clinical pharmacist or work in hospitals and healthcare.
If you are interested in hospital jobs or clinical practice, go for Pharm D . If you like research and lab work, go for BSc Biotechnology.
Hope it helps !

With 312 marks in neet 2025 and an all india sc rank of 410043 and Gujarat sc rank 40241 getting an mbbs seat in a government colleges in gujarat is very difficult even under the sc category because cutoff marka for sc in gujarat goverment colleges usually stay above 240 -450 marks but you dont worry you still have option you can try for semi government or privatw medical colleges in gujarat during later counselling round or mop up round where yhe cutoffs may go slightly lower also chack states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil nadu where some private colleges may offer mbbs seats at score for sc students consider bdms or bhms as backup medical feild too where you easily get admission
The cutoff shown for most exams on websites is usually the category wise closing rank and in many exams it is the All India Rank that is mentioned not the state rank unless it is a state level exam if you are checking a national level exam like neet jee or clat then rank mentioned for cutoff is mostly the all india rank and not the state rank but for state exams like mhcet ap eamcet ts eamcet or others it can be the state rank too so you should always read the note written near the cutoff list or check the official website to know if the cutoff is based on all india rank or state rank because that helps you know your real chance better for admission in the college you want to go
