I got a all India rank of 1,30,967 what all college I can apply in the counselling

SEJAL JAIN 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello

With an AIR of 1,30,967 in NEET 2025, getting a government MBBS seat is quite difficult.
State quota cutoffs in Maharashtra government colleges are usually below 60,000–70,000 rank.
However, you still have chances in private medical colleges under the state or management quota.
You can also keep an eye on stray vacancy rounds for leftover seats.
Consider exploring BDS or allied health courses as good backup options, too.

i got a addmission through jee main rank in cap ( mht -cet ) means through all india seat. my cast ij nt-c so which cast fess i need to pay open or nt-c

Prachi Kumari 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello,

Since you got admission through JEE Main rank (All India quota) , your admission is considered under the open/general category , not the state reservation (NT-C) category.

So, you need to pay the Open/General category fees , not the NT-C fees.

Hope it helps !

if we are allotted a college in all india counseling in 2nd/3rd round but we didnt join the college..so what will happen?

Abhilasha Agrawal 22nd Aug, 2025

If you are allotted a college in AIQ 2nd/3rd round but don’t join, that seat gets cancelled automatically. Your security deposit may be forfeited as per rules. You usually become ineligible for further AIQ rounds/mop-up. However, you can still take part in your state counselling if registered there. So, non-joining affects only your AIQ seat, not your state quota options.

My NEET PG All India rank is 45336. I need prediction of admission into MS-Obs&Gny/Opthal/ENT courses in private medical colleges of madhya pradesh under all india quota. Im domicile of maharashtra. Please help

Nikita shahi 21st Aug, 2025

At a rank of 45,336, getting MS-Obs & Gyn or Ophthalmology in top private colleges of MP is a little difficult, as these courses close at much lower ranks (under 20–30k usually). However, you may still have chances in some colleges .

You can use this tool for predict your college: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-pg-college-predictor

For ENT, chances are better compared to Obs & Gyn. You should definitely apply in Mop-Up rounds where vacant seats often open up, and sometimes cut-offs go higher.

Thank you!

I want to participate in round 2 of all india and state (UP) counselling. If I wish to upgrade my choices in both the cases, then what is the standard procedure? Kindly clear my confusion as the seat in round 3 is treated as final, so where do I have to report after getting a seat in round 3 of all india counselling and state counselling?

Nikita shahi 21st Aug, 2025

You can take part in both All India Quota (AIQ) and State Counselling separately. Both have independent processes. If you get a seat in AIQ Round 2, you can still participate in state counselling, but if you accept/join the AIQ seat, you must leave the state seat. Upgradation means you can float your seat and wait for a better option in the next round.

And for Round 3 (Mop-Up round), whichever seat you are allotted finally (AIQ or state), you must report directly to that college and complete admission formalities.

Thank you!

I got 252 marks in neet 2025 with all india rank 595873 so can I get government quota in your university

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 20th Aug, 2025

With 252 marks (AIR ~5,95,873) in NEET UG 2025, you won’t get an MBBS seat in any government college as even SC/ST cutoffs stay higher, but you may still have chances in private BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Nursing, or Paramedical courses, and in some states, MBBS may be possible only through costly private management quota seats; the exact options will depend on your state and category.

i got 414 marks in PG neet 2025 and UR category can i get MS ortho in india

Abhi sonkar 21st Aug, 2025

Good afternoon with a NEET PG score of 414, getting MS Orthopedics in a government college under All India Quota (AIQ) for the General category is highly unlikely, as the expected cutoff for MS Ortho in 2025 is around 490–497 out of 800.

What Are Your Options? State Quota (if applicable)

Private medical colleges

Deemed universities

State government colleges (reserved seats)

DNB Orthopedics

DNB (Diplomate of National Board) programs in Orthopedics are a strong alternative. With 414, you can target:

Mid-tier private hospitals

Some government-affiliated DNB institutes

Rural or semi-urban setups with good hands-on exposure

Management Quota

If budget permits, private colleges under management quota may offer MS Ortho seats at this score.

What You Can Do Now

Track MCC and state counselling rounds closely.

Explore DNB options—I can help shortlist hospitals with good surgical exposure.

Consider backup branches like MS ENT, MS Ophthalmology, or MD Anaesthesia, which may be available at this score.

I got AIR 9011 in neet pg, which colleges I can get in India in ortho or others

Rahul Mandal 20th Aug, 2025

Hello,

With an AIR rank of 9011 in NEET PG, you have a very good chance to secure a postgraduate seat in various medical colleges in India, including some offering orthopedics or other specializations. While securing a top-tier, highly competitive institution for ortho might be challenging, you can aim for the good medical colleges and other specializations.

I hope it will clear your query!!
