Yes, the NEET exam has now become compulsory if one wishes to take admission in BSc Nursing in AFMC, Pune. This national entrance exam is held to provide admission to a four-year B.Sc nursing program. This entrance exam is needed of those interested in serving in the military nursing service. Admission is only available to female candidates.

The previous year cut off for girls was 627 marks whereas for males it was 609 marks.

Moreover, there are four main entries to get into IMA and in your final year of Graduation, you need to pass the Combined Defence Services Exams, clear the SSB, be medically fit and join IMA as a Direct Entry.

If you want to join indian army then you can more than one option to join it. Firstly , if you are from final year of graduation then you can give combined defence services exams that is commonly known as CDS exam. After clearing the CDS , you have to crack the SSB interview then after that you should be medically fit and finally you join IMA if you come in merit.

Another entry is 10+2 tech entry where you can apply after your 12th exams .

• Only indian nationals are permitted to give the exam.
• Indian army nursing bsc exam is only permitted to female candidates only.
• Candidates must have physics , chemistry , biology and english in their class 12th.

Yes it is truly possible that you can join Indian army even if you are from commerce background provided that you have Mathematics in your senior secondary education. Actually you would have to write the NDA examination and for which mathematics is a compulsory subject. I would also want to tell you that you are not eligible for Indian Air force or Navy because you do not have Physics as your subject. NDA examination is not very difficult you only need to practice the mathematics section well and other sections can be easily managed because they are of 10th level only. If you can manage at least 90-100 marks in mathematics section then it would not be very difficult to score around 260 marks in English and GAT section combined.

You can also join the Indian army after graduation through CDS examination but again you would only be eligible for Indian military services. You can prepare for CDS examination during your graduation so that you can perform well and easily get a place in Academy. In case you do not have Mathematics then you cannot join Indian army through this entrance examination but you can get into smaller posts through NCC and other small physical examinations.
