Hello Shiva
A person who wants to enlist in the military must be in good physical and mental health. One cannot predict when a conflict will break out or when a member of the armed services will need to engage in combat with notorious internal forces. Therefore, an armed force is required to be in good physical and dental health. This is due to the fact that a toothache can be excruciating and impair a person's ability to focus on the task at hand on the battlefield.
Thanks

Hi aspirant
There are various ways a biology student can join Indian Army and serve the nation with pride. The ways are :
The CDS exam (https://ssbcrackexams.com/course/cdse/) is conducted by UPSC for the aspirants who are in the final year of graduation or passed out of college. Through CDS exam, one can join, IMA, AFA, INA and OTA. Women can only join OTA Chennai through CDS Exam. CDS examination gives army aspirants to choose between permanent commission and short service commission.
Candidates who have qualified 10+2 CBSE/ICSE/State Board Examination with minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for commission under the 10+2(TES). On being successful in the SSB and being declared fit by the medical board, they undergo one year basic military training at the Training Academy and thereafter undergo three years engineering degree course in respective streams before getting Permanent Commission. On being commissioned, they are further put through one year of post commissioning training for the Arm/Service into which they are commissioned. This option is only applicable to you if you had mathematics with you biology subjects as well.
There are many more ways through which you can join Indian Army but since you are a biology student this answer has been kept limited given your available choices. However you can also become a doctor in Indian armed forces after you complete your MBBS.
I hope this answer helps you
TES officer belongs to the technical work that is done. a TES officer works at the back of the technical branch of the Indian army. there is very less or no chance that a TES officer is sent to the war to fight. but irrespective of everything, getting selected in the Indian army is itself a respectable and proud moment.
Yes ofcourse a female lieutenant officer of Indian Army can give UPSC civil services exam without leaving the job if your preparation is well enough. As it must have been in your knowledge that UPSC CSE is one of the toughest and crucial exams in India because of its vast syllabus, it becomes more harder for aspirants doing job since most of their time is invested in their work. But still, if one gives their extra effort and smart and hard study, everything is possible.
There is no restrictions in appearing for the exam since you must have been of age 21 or above and have a graduation degree if you are an officer in Indian Army.
