With a rank of around 19,000 in the general ews category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in iiit allahabad or iiit lucknow as the closing ranks were around 2,500 for Allahabad and 3,000 was the closing rank for IIIT Lucknow under home state quota. Dear Aspirant,
A candidate can give JEE Main exam six times over a period of three consecutive years.In a year,a candidate can appear for JEE Main twice in the month of January and April.
So Yes you can take admission in lower IIT and start preparing for JEE Main exam again to appear for JEE 2021.If you clear your JEE Main and Advance with good rank and you are able to get admission in IIT Allahabad then you can take admission there again in your First Year.The only thing is that you need to repeat your First Year.

NIT CALICUT
Now if you solely wants to learn CS then you should choose IIIT ALLAHABAD as in that college you get to learn all things in CSE from you first sem.Or you want to experience everything and be in a good college then you can also go for NIT Calicut.In my opinion you should choose NIT Calicut.Although at the end it your decision.

Looking at the past year cutoff trends,the cutoff of IIIT Allahabad for ECE branch in round seven was at 1551.As your rank is 3067 it will be a bit tough to get a seat.But still there are some chances if you apply in the special rounds.But the special rounds are highly uncertain and you should thus not solely depend on them and reserve a seat in some descent Engineering college as a backup.So best of luck.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad opening cutoff rank for Information Technology is 122 and closing cutoff rank is 440.
So, as per this record, you have chance to get this college if cutoff decreases. Ypu can aply for IT in other IIIT like Indian Institute of Information Technology Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, Indian institute of information technology, Raichur, Karnataka.

Both are good at it's place and IIT Allahabad is own of the best colleges to study but it depends on your interest i.e., what you want to study or in which subject you are good at.
ECE in IIT-A is good they start giving you good course classes in your starting days itself but coming to the placement. The placement offers for ECE are good but only the core companies would take you forward with good package.
But IT has good career oriented aspects for the placement as they have good opportunities with 100% offers with average package of 8.2 lakh per annum.
If you ask me I would recommend IT over ECE but overall it depends on your interest of study as ECE also have good opportunities.

The answer to this question is very clear. If you are getting branches like CSE,IT, AND ECE in IIIT DELHI then it will be best option for you. If you are getting other branches than this then choose NIT DELHI. Both colleges are equally good in academics and infrastructure.

An admission to the institutes mentioned above seems to be tough with this rank. Based on previous year cutoffs candidates having a rank between 500-3000 seems to get admission there.
