If you look at the placement statistics then NIT Surat has an upper hand, however, I would suggest ECE at IIIT Allahabad, as the IIITs are focused on IT and Computer science. And the combination of the knowledge of IT and ECE will be a very good thing for your career in the long run. Moreover, you will find a good coding culture in the IIIT A which would be very helpful in getting internships at some big companies.

MNNIT Allahabad is one of the recognized NITs of India. Any core branches like CSE, ECE, CE, ME, and EEE will be the better choice over any other NITs (except the First four NITs) or IIITs.

Therefore, I will suggest ECE in MNNIT Allahabad over IT/ECE at IIIT Allahabad. Placements at MNNIT Allahabad is far better than IIIT Allahabad. It has an average package of 8 lakhs, and Highest goes over 40 lakh CTC.

Faculties, Infrastructure, and Course Structure is also optimum good.

I would suggest you selecting IIIT Allahabad ECE above the other options. IIIT Allahabad has excellent Research Facilities, Infrastructure and Academic Outlook. Secondly it ranks among the top 10 Technical Institutes of our country, when placements are discussed with average package lying between 15-18 LPA for ECE. Companies like Microsoft, Qualcomm, Google, Amazon, Reliance Jio and Intel are top recruiters at IIIT A ECE. Placements: Placement and Job Opportunities are provided by the college for various distinctive companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft etc. that come in the campus for the recruitment and Internship Purpose. Stipend for internship vary from 15000 To 25000 Rs. All the companies come to hire from various domains of development consultation, product based, service based and Programming Based companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good and well furnished. ECE Lab and Research lab are very well-equipped. There are all types of lab are present that required by the Industry or company. Most famous lab of the college is robotics and coding lab. Hostel facility in IIT Allahabad is very good There are 5 big hostels for Boys and separate hostels for girls. Mess facility in IIITA is available and is well maintained and several popular food joints like dominos, Bikanervala etc. are present. IIIT Allahabad is better than IIIT Delhi as far as ECE is concerned, secondly you get the Government IIIT Tag. First you Consider what field of engineering you like.

Because CSE and IT seems same but both are different a lot CSE deals with mathematics , programming , algorithms, while IT is much more safer side of Computer science it includes Computer fundamentals not in depth study and management/ services skills.

I think you opt for CSE in Durgapur because A computer science graduate can also do a job of IT professional.
