NIT Allahabad as well as IIIT Allahabad, both are national level premier institutions for B.Tech and other courses.

Both are best at it's own tier means NIT Allahabad is one of the best institutions among all NITs and IIIT Allahabad is also one of the best IIIT among all the IIITs.

Performance is almost equal like placement statistics are almost same for both the institutions and faculties are also well qualified.

But if you want to go with name and fame of college than you should go for NIT instead of IIIT because NITs are at higher position in comparison to IIITs.

As per the eligibility to apply for MBA in IIIT Allahabad, You should have Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA (45% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST Candidates). If you fail in physics xii board  , and get good marks  in other subjects . Getting good marks in JEE Main. If you pass  Your failed subject  then no need to worry. But you must qualify for the aggregate percentage in board. That will be needed in nit or IIT. After that you on the basis of JEE main you will get admission in your desired stream.

It won't affect your Jee rank but it will affect you

rank in merit list in  institutes ( where you will apply)  at the time of admission.  As at the time of admission all factors are considered  . After jee main score 12 th marks are considered . First attempt  or second attempt   , this is also a factor.

the permanent campus of IIIT lucknow is Chak Ganjaria Region, Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow. Placement activity is done as it used to do before. shifting location will not effect the placement activity.

Placement activity is successful when large number of students are selected in a campus drive. selection of candidates depends on their technical and soft skills which takes time to earn.

Based on category and resevations u may get seat in that college i mean to say iiit allahabad but u may or may not get cse branch in that college as its a top college so that chances are less compared to previous years cutoff marks and estimations as your having a reservation of  OBC so that u have some plus point to get chances are there but i cannot give u that complete  chances are there u may or may not get and to calculate the ranks and we can predict  ranks by using formula below

Percentile calculation- {(Maximum rank – Rank of the Candidate)* 100} / Maximum Rank.

Based on resevations and percentile u will get your rank.
