See this choice is for you to make but i can tell you IIIT Allahabad is a far better institution in terms of opportunities if you ask me. But what matters here is what are your inclination, don't choose something you don't feel like doing, imagine doing it for the rest of your life, do you feel good. ECE and CSE are pretty different field in themselves. Choose wisely.

Ranging from 349-3700 the opening and closing ranks respectively, if you score around this being a SC category for the privilidged section of the society you'll get this colleges of IIIT of Allahabad. Make sure your rank lie between thsi toake it to the shot. Hope you get one. Good luck!

If you are concerned about placements, then DTU is the best option. DTU has over 250+ companies visiting it every year which is very high as compared to IIIT Allahabad or any IIITs. Software Engineering and IT are both similar courses. Students of both these fields can apply to the same jobs, so the course is not a big factor here. GO for DTU if you want good placements.

Let me guess, your cleared the JEE Advanced 2019 and want to know whether civil engg is your thing and you're deciding your future in terms of moolah which you may or may not make inspite of joining a so called "good" branch.
It all depends on your ability to excel regardless of what you choose to study so please dude stop being the "neighbourhood uncle/aunty" who judge you by what you would be supposedly making 4 years down the line.

Its also upon your interest. If you like computers and want a job in IT company in future,you can go for IIITA. But you will miss IIT kanpur like college life and an iitian tag. So its all upon you whether you want to work in non core sector with an iitian tag or in a IT sector with a high pay job.

Medical fitness certificate is required in most of the engineering colleges...but i don't think they will conduct checkup. You just need to have certificates with you only.

After freezing your seat, you have to pay the seat acceptance fee for the alloted seat through net banking/e-challan. Report to the document verification centre and get your documents verified. After verification and payment of fee, you will get a provisional admission letter. Finally report to the alloted institute with all the original certificates and documents on the alloted date. Acc to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon a no of factors such as no of aspirants, level of difficulty of mains this year etc etc , so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity, last year cut off rank for iiit allahabad was 12004 for general category and 9045 for obc category, so we look at previous years cut off's you might not have a chance

Use your categorical rank to get an admission in the counselling process so put the options of college according to your categorical rank only. If your rank is enough secured to get you an IIIT or a NIT then there is no risk. Better to give one option of college where you can surely get an admission and keep the priority low for it.

Hello dear, I will suggest if  you are really interested in programming then go for IIIT-A, as it is the right place for you. It is the best items of coding culture. this is the first college to introduce a competitive programming course as a semester course. 

And being in ECE  branch you can easily take forward your career in the field of CS.

And if you are interested in core electrical then go for MNIT as is better in faculty and placement wise in core departments.

All that matters is what you need. It depends on the branch in which you have more interest.

If nothing matters much for you like branch or subjects and brand value of college which means more than you must go with NIT Kurukshetra and that too with ECE branch as the placement scenario is supposed to be increased with the vivid curriculum.

So you can just choose between EE and ECE but by staying in NIT Kurukshetra.
