A lateral entry student is the one who directly enters into the second year of his engineering. He/she must have completed a diploma in their respective branch to be eligible for the lateral entry program. After completing their diploma, they write a special examination for enrollment in the institute.
No sir , you can not take admission in IIT Allahabad through lateral entry.Only IIT H allows it ,so try for it .
As per the trend and previous year cutoff it's difficult for you to get it. But it depends upon this year's cutoff.

Information Technology in IIIT,Allahabad closed at 2769 rank in 2017 and 4724 rank in 2016.

Only IIIT H allows lateral entry admission so it is not possible to get admission in IIIT Allahabad if you want to take lateral entry admission then try IIIT H
