There are 2 courses with design and manufacturing offered at IIT Kancheepuram.

You have not specified it so I will provide you with previous year cutoff for both  the branches.

• For ECE with specialization Design and Manufacturing open rank for SC 3350 close 3814
• Mechanical Engineering with specialization Design and Manufacturing for SC open 3854 close 4413.

Hi,

Its hard to get seat in CSE in IIIT with this rank as many people wants to take that branch so there is alot of rush. Also it's very difficult to even predict which college you will get for CSE. so i'll suggest It's a good rank, just go for the councelling and see what happens. It's for sure that you will get some of the good colleges for this rank.

Placement at IIITDM Kancheepuram is ‘average’. What it means that most of the students are placed in range 5lpa to 10lpa. Few cross 10 lpa. This figure will DEFINITELY grow in coming years as trend is changing to the positive side,

you should check iiit or iiitdm cutoffs

I am sorry to say but you score has very negligible scope for any NIT , you can try in home state quota buteven in your state there wil be many students who will be there competeting against you witha  better rank. still you can try.
