Hi,
NIT T chemical engineering can be your choice according to my opinion, In chem, electrochemistry has got more opportunities. Learn some computer subjects. learn extra electrochemistry, only then you can get fantastic opportunities. But if you have some interest in CSE IIITDM Kanchipuram CSE can be your next choice. It has got super opportunities, faculties are with PhD from iitdm anyday CSE dept has full placement opportunities.
Now a days in my opinion you should go for NIT Trichy Chemical Engineering, this will be best for you in terms of placements, scopes and most of everything you want.
Hope this helps. All the Best..
Dear Student,
For Computer Science Engineering(CSE), I will suggest you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram instead of IIIT Kottayam
Also, in IIIT kanchepuram ,tamilnadu The fee structure of this college is 5.25 lakhs, infrastructure of this college is too good.coming to placements, the highest salary package was 51 LPA and average salary package was above 5 LPA. faculty of this college is too good.
Also, please choose between CSE and ECE as per your area of interest as both the fields are having great scope. Rest is your call. So, choose wisely.
Hope this sorted your query.
Good Luck :)
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>> With 6k st rank
You have low chance in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram for any branch
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,
--------) Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram cut off/closing rank for st category for gender neutral was 3867 st rank and it was for Smart Manufacturing (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
You have chances in GFTIs like
----------)Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, (C.G.) :- Industrial and Production Engineering:- 6635 st rank
----------)Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology:- Food Technology:-6799 st rank
----------)National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, Haryana :- Food Technology and Management:-6852 st rank
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

Hello aspirant,
I think your first should be IIIT Lucknow because it has better coding culture and placement. It ranks higher than NIT.
Then your second Choice should be NIT Jalandhar
- NIT jamshedpur
- IIIT Gwalior
Then others....
I hope you got my point
Goodluck!
Hello,
SC/ST students are exempted from the payment of tuition fees irrespective of your parental income.
But you have to pay hostel charges i. e. 39,500.

Hello student
hope you are doing great. As per your query I would glad to tell you that NIT patna would be a better option because of the NIT brand and top nirf ranking in india . Moroever , it has better infrastructure ,well experienced faculities which directly impacts on placements . I always say go for college instead of branch because at the end student of all branch sits together for placements
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Considering strong Placement scope, Faculty, Infrastructure and prospects in Projects and excellent employer and academic outlook, you preference should be
1. IIITM Gwalior
2. IIIT Lucknow CSE
3. IIIT Pune CSE
4. IIIT Bhubaneshwar CSE
5. IIIT Kancheepuram CSE
Incase you get IT, thats also as good as CSE at IIIT. Most of the above IIITs have strong Placements.
For more information and college prediction do follow the link below
Both are newly established IIITs. Following are the some facts about IIIT Kancheepuram:
Facts about IIIT Trichy :
After looking on factors like Ranking, Placement and fees, IIIT Kancheepuram seems better choice than IIIT Trichy. However both are good Institutes but if you have to choose between these two, I would suggest you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram.
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!!
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
You should consider IIIT Gwalior above IIITDM Kancheepuram.
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
