iiit kancheepuram mechanical Vs metallurgy in NIT jamshedpur ? which is better for placements and career opportunity?

tinni.chats 29th Oct, 2020
Hello Aspirant  , hope you are doing good.

So firstly , I'll give you an answer that's my personal preference and you might differ from that. According to my opinion , you should definitely have NIT as your first preference if you are able to get a seat there. NITs are the best colleges in India after IITs and so you don't have to worry much about it's placements because it's great. Metallurgy on the other hand is an emerging topic and it's progressing day by day and it definitely has a lot of scope. IIITs are also good but if you have to select between a NIT and an IIIT I would definitely say you can opt for NIT. As for the last year , the placement was 90 % in NIT metallurgy, highest package being 39 lakhs per annum and average being 8lakhs per annum.

Hope this helps you. GOOD LUCK !!

which is better to do EIE in NIT silchar or mechanical in iiit kancheepuram?

chinchujoseph1993 28th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Hope you are doing good.

Both EIE and Mechanical Engineering are different branches, therefore my suggestion is that you choose based on your interest. Because I don’t think it would be advisable to choose one over the other in terms of placement or any other such  factors when you more passion to the other field that you didn’t select.

Nonetheless, below I have given some important points of both colleges, so that it may help you in deciding which is better for you.

which is better to do metallurgy in NIT Jaipur or mechanical in iiit kancheepuram? regarding placements and opportunity

apeksha150598 28th Oct, 2020
Hello aspirant,

I would suggest you go for NIT Jaipur. NITs are always ranked higher than IIITs. NIT Jaipur is ranked 35 by NIRF. Also from placement point of view NIT is better than IIIT. From last year's data in metallurgy branch in NIT Jaipur has been quite well with 38 students placed. NIT Jaipur has excellent placement for other branches such as CS, ECE chemical but even metallurgy students are placed with very good packages. Whereas in IIIT Kancheepuram placements are good for other branches but mechanical branch has very low placement.

With careers360's college comparer I have compared the two colleges and you can see the result below.

I hope this clarifies your doubt.
