Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
hi,
see the fees structure for MBA is differ college to college. in IIMS you would get fees relaxation based on your financial condition. however 2 years mba fees ranges from 4-28 lakhs or more.
to apply for sc category you must have documents to support sc category, category certificates need to renew in every year. you need to go through the official website of state back ward class welfare portal. then you may apply for caste certificate online. however the application process may differ as per state wise.
Hii..
There is no such type of restrictions for 10th and 12th but academics play a very important role in your selection especially for top 5 IIMs they give weightage to academics score. So it is very important that you should have minimum 80% then only you can expect calls from A/B/C.
Academics, work experience, extra curricular activities, any other achievement also keeps important role in your selection.
Hi Dear,
Getting into Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is no cakewalk but you can definitely make your way to IIM Bangalore with consistent hardwork and good percentile in CAT. If you are a general category student then I'll recommend you to get a percentile close to 99 for high chance of selection. Also, by the time you are preparing for CAT try to enhance your profile by earning work experience or certifications etc. Perform well in GDPI/WAT and you can definitely crack IIM Bangalore.

Yes, assuming you are from General Category, with a great academic record in school, having a 7.5+ GPA from an Old IIT, having a CAT Percentile Score of 99.7+ you have fair chances in securing a Call from atleast 3 of the Top 6 IIMs, IIM ABCLKI.

Hello aspirant
IIM Bangalore has two postgraduate courses in management, PGP and PGPBA. PGPBA is a full-time, two-year course in management. The admission is through a valid score in the CAT examination.
IIM Banglore offers a total of 412 seats whereas the total fees for the course are INR 21,00,000.
Eligiblity criteria is the student is required to complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Final year graduation students can also apply for the program on the condition that they are required to submit their final aggregate score CGPA by June.
Hope this helps . All the best.
Ideally you should have been eligible or atleast received a Call from 3 of the Top IIMs, BLACKI. Being from Non Engineering Background, and secondly after Securing 99.94 Percentile in CAT, its highly unusual. However, it does happen, and you may have lost points for your average Academic Record as well as Points due to No Work Experience.
However, Do keep hope, as All IIMs have yet not released their Call Lists. Secondly, their are many Excellent Management Institutes other than IIMs like Management Schools of Top IITs like VGSOM, SJSOM, DMS IIT Delhi as well as Top Management Institutes like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, SPJIMR, NITIE and JBIMS Mumbai, and you must participate in the respective application processes.

Hello,
Your graduation marks is good and CAT percentile also good. But your 10th and 12th marks is low. Minimum marks is 50% in 10th and 12th to join MBA but some colleges notice also your 10th and 12th marks also. And IIM Bangalore one of them. They want minimum 90% marks in 10th and 12th class. This criteria its not fullfill from you. So i don't think any chances are occure for you. But you can try for it. I'll suggest you some another college name below-

All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
Both are excellent institutions in its own way and the decision of which is best will depend on where you want to work. IIM is best for India , Rotman is best if you want to work in Canada. Even other wise , both are good in general , they both have several global rankings and in some you may find Rotman having slightly higher ranking. However, you should decide by considering your profile and see which institute suits it the best. Other factors to consider are like fee expense, learning expectations, like if you are keen on gaining an international exposure ,then Rotman is the best, comparison of college placements etc.You should even compare the branch in MBA you wish to take and see which college offers best program content for that. Rotman is good for for Finance\Management Consulting & Good for Marketing\Ops Supply Chain\Technology Consulting.
The ultimate decision should be taken by , nobody knows what you need more than you. Moreover , after getting an MBA degree you will be one among the MBA crowd , so to stand with competition and get yourself a good career, you knowledge ,skills ,hard work ,dedication and networking skills will matter more than the degree, colleges are just a lunch pad, depends on you how to use it . I suggest you to make a good comparison between both an decide according to your requirements .

The IIMs are most premium institutions for MBA in India and Bangalore IIM being the top one according to the latest NIRF ranking , getting an MBA from there is going to be highly valued for sure , in India and abroad as well. But when it comes to abroad , sure it is well accepted but it won't make heads turn like how it happens in India , in fact IITs are the only Indian institution to get a superior attention outside India as well. It will have a status of a regular MBA degree from a good college, that's it . If you want to get into big reputed companies and climb up to managerial positions , then you will have to work hard from entry level positions. If you have good networking skills and good amount of knowledge in management area then , the progress might be quick . So if you are getting admission in IIM Bangalore , it is the best possible MBA education you can get from India, therefore you will have plenty of options , so utilize the learning experience and make a clear plan on how and where you want to work. Job prospects will vary from country to country. Research well about both the country and the company and prepare yourself. Another point to note is if you get placed through campus placement , use it as a lunching pad.
