IIT Delhi is among the top B-Schools in India for MBA. It has wonderful faculty and infrastructure of IIT Delhi engineering camous is also accessible to the MBA Batch. With the beautifl lush green campus, in the centr of the city it is very accessible and is a wonderful place to study.

The faculty and teaching pedagogy is unparalleled and it maintains the same brand value for MBA as it does for engineering course. It is highly regarded.

In terms of placements, the batch size is relatively small around 90 students. Hence, the competition is limited. And owing to its high brand value it attracts huge number of recruiters including industry big names like deloitte, Accenture Strategy, Google, Amazon, GE etc. The average CTC last year was INR 16.54LPA which is significant among the top B Schools in India. 

Along with this the fee is also relatively low making it a high return on investment. There is also huge exposure to the industry due to two main reasons - locational advantage (delhi) and Brand Value of IIT Delhi.

In my opinion IIT Delhi is 9/10 for MBA. If you ask me what institutes fall above it I would say the IIMs, MDI, FMS, SPJain, IIFT, XLRI.

Well if you can take coaching then You should Go because you will be able to compete with your batchmates and will know the real Problems of the exam before the exam, But there are many students who clear CAT without coaching so again if you have good planning and self-discipline and you are able to stick to the deadlines then You can prepare for Yourself.

If you are preparing Yourself then don't forget to make progress report where you are going to mention what You have read each day and how much Problems did you solved every day to keep track of Your speed and You will be able to determine that How much time you should spend on each topic you score well in the exam.

Indian Institue of Mass Communication(IIMC) offers plethora of diploma courses in the field of Journalism like Post-Graduate Diploma course in Journalism(Hindi and English),Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations and so on for which they conduct entrance exam. 

However, there are certain eligibility norms that should be met by the interested candidate. Students who hold Bachelor's degree in any subject only can apply for this exam. Moreover, only Indian nationals are eligible to take the exam for Post-Graduate Diploma courses. For International students, however, there are other criteria.

As far as the age criteria is concerned, for General Category-candidates who are born on 01 August, 1994 or later are eligible. SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Catregory- candidates who are born on 01 August, 1989 or later are eligible. OBC category- candidates born on 01 August, 1991 or later are eligible.

The admission fee of IIM Calcutta is part of the tution fees only. Total course Fee of Rs. 11,25,000 lakhs have to be paid in five installments.

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.
• Age Limit: General category candidate should be born on August 1, 1994 or later. OBC category candidate should be born on August 1, 1991 or later. SC/ST/PH category candidate should be born on August 1, 1989 or later. (The query for which you were looking)
• Qualifying Exam: The candidates should hold the bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
• Appearing Candidates: Final year candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have to submit their provisional degree before 31st August 2019.

There are no UG programmes in IIM Calcutta. IIM Calcutta offers five main full-time PG programmes:

* Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)  Two-year, full-time MBA  programme
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)  Doctoral programme.

* Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX)  One-year, full-time MBA  programme for Executives.

* Post Graduate Programme for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLM)  One-year, full-time Executive MBA programme.

* Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)  Two years, full-time BA programme.
