Indian Institute of Management Calcutta
Unfortunately you have to appear for CAT, as it is the basic pre-requisite for IIM Calcutta. Start preparing for CAT 2018 if you have'nt already so that you get admission in your dream B-school.
All the best!
I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 99.9 percentile to get a call for the next round of IIM Calcutta.

It totally depends on your interest and long term career goals. So do a bit of introspection and your inner self will answer you.
All the best for your future!
Based on your academic profile, only getting a 100 percentile can fetch you a call from IIM A and IIM C. You might miss out a chance in IIM B even if you score a perfect 100 percentile.
For top IIMs like IIM A, B and C you need to have above 92+ percentile to get a call and above 95+ percentile to increase the probability of your conversion. For other old IIMs like IIM K, L and I you need to have above 85+ percentile and 90+ to increase the probability of your conversion. And for getting a call from new IIMs or ultra new IIMs you need to have 80+ percentile.
The harsh reality is that even a 100 percentile can gurantee you a seat as there is considerable weightage in GD/PI/WAT and academic background +work experience. Yes but you are likely to ge through unless you perform exxeptionally bad in the subsequent rounds.
