Dear applicant, though IIM AHMEDABAD and IIM CALCUTTA are equivalent in every aspects. However when it comes to Ranking given to any Institute, Ahmedabad IIM holds better position based on their Academic Facilities and Top Notch faculties. The placement shows there is a consistent good placement records for long years with impressive salary packages of over 10-12 LPA. Although IIM Calcutta is also a great opportunity to study,

Hello Aspirant!
There are various reasons which make IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bombay better than IIM Calcutta. One of the massive advantages IIM-A , IIM-B had was its proximity to Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bangalore, all three economic powerhouses. Whereas IIM-C, although older and located in Kolkata, had to deal with the distance problem.
There was an alumni reunion in IIM-A just before Christmas, when the batch of ’92 descended upon campus. Out of the 180 in the batch, about 150 turned up for the reunion. Which not happens with full ledge in IIM-C. But all IIM's are great to go and they lead many students to make better future for our nation.
Hey Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great,

Hello Hello,
Although every course in IIMs are best but some of them are extraordinary and one can not afford to miss them. Below i have mentioned those course, check those out:
Hope this information helps you.
Thank you and good luck:)
Hi Richie,
First and foremost, for IIMs (A/B/C) you need to score a very good percentile in CAT. Assuming you're a GEM (General category, Engineer and a Male), and have decent academic scores (i.e. 85% and above in your 10th and 12th and 80% and above in your graduation) your percentile should be no less than 99.4 - 99.5.
Now, coming to specific B-Schools. IIM C gives less importance to your past academics and more to CAT and further processes (WAT, PI). So even if you have a poor score in 10th / 12th / graduation (obviously more than 70%), you still stand a chance by acing your CAT paper.
IIM B on the other hand gives a lot of weightage to your past academics. Therefore if you're not someone with 90% and above in both 10th and 12th, you might face serious competitions and if you have a poor score then you might want to drop the dream of IIM B.
But you can still look for IIM A, as it is more balanced than IIM B and doesn't necessarily put that much weight on your past academics.
Hope this helps.
