If i will tell you the fact then For B tech General category student IIM is only dream unless u score More then 99+ percentile because of gender diversity,Field Diversity..U will get a call from IIM rohtak,Baby IIMs,new IIMs with this percentile..Even you will get a call from Culcutta also

Hello Aman,

It is not compulsory to have maths in your +2 to be eligible to appear in CA and admissions to IIM. The minimum percentage requirement is of 50% in your bachelors degree.

Hi Saumya,
                    Well what you have got in your graduation, it's good. But main is CAT. If you don't score good in CAT then all will be well, but if don't score good in CAT, all will go in vain.
But, you have good chances as you have great academics.

you can study directly in IIM after 12th examination but these programs is conducted only in IIM Indore .It will be 3 year program followed by Master program .And student have options  of dropping after 3 year program .The minimum eilgibility criteria is 60% in 10th and 12th

Hello candidate,
IIM Shillong doesn't offer any undergraduate courses.
IIM Shillong only offers PG, executive and Doctoral courses in management and accepts CAT, GRE, GMAT and JRF scores.

Its very hard to get a call from top IIMs, but in case you have a good profile for eg., you awere active in college activites, hold some awards and prize in copetitions, did some courses and internship then you may get a call.

CAT cutoff for old IIMs and top B-schools such as FMS (University of Delhi), MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, etc. goes over 99 percentile

New IIMs including IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Udaipur, Trichy and Kashipur and other top B-schools have cutoff 90 percentile and above.

CAT is not a knowledge intensive exam. It is all about one’s basic quantitative, analytical, logical reasoning and English language skills. You can read and learn the concepts, but it needs a good amount of practice to develop these skills.
