You should consider giving MBA entrances alongside pursuing CA because as CA won't give you management roles it has a different scope and dimension altogether .

TO join into IIM'S firstly you need to crack entrance exam like CAT and score very good and also get through other rounds like GDPI to enter into top IIMS  (99+)

secondly with regard to intership and placements ,as you are already highly qualified with btech and mtech degree

Hi Abhijit, there are some or rather many IIMs which does not give importance to the academic scores much. One of the top IIM which does not give much weightage to it is IIM Ahmedabad. The academic weightage is very less here compared to others. Next is IIM Calcutta which

Along with 10th and 12th score, under-graduation score too is an important decisive fact for getting selection in CAT and XAT. 

For engineers, you can get calls IIM A, C - 99.7+ percentile

IIM L, K - 99.5+ percentile

Also from FMS, at 99+ percentile.

XLRI BM at 98.5+ percentile.
