Sir,I scored 79.5% on metric, 76.2% on 12th and I think I will score around 60% on Graduation.How much %ile I have to score in CAT for IIM?

Hello Pranjal,

CAT requires a score og 98+ to get into baby IIM or Newer ONes.

Since, your academic record is not so good, I would suggest to have above 98-99 percenrtie to get a confirmed seat in IIM, as then overall score is calculated on GD-PI AND ACADS and

Integrated BBA MBA courses offered at IIM Indore only and to get admission into IIM Ahmedabad the only way is to appear for CAT therefore if you want to do BBA then you need to switch for some other colleges and look for other opportunities because IIMA does not offer

yes,any stream (arts/engineering/science) can do mba in iim.you need to give CAT entrance exam then you should take written ability test and personal interview.that's all.

If a student is qualified in CDS in English n GK but not in maths... would he be called for ssb for OTA Chennai instead of IIM??

It depends on what is your B.Sc degree is  about.
You must have studied for the degree for 3 years and have some knowledge about it.
If not so, go revise the syllabus for 3 years on your subject.
You have no other option.
And they will ask not much

Your percentages are really very low for IIMs and you can end up to be in the lowest category if it comes to educational qualifications.
But still if you have a good CAT score,you can try for the new IIMs like IIM Shillong and those and you have a chance

If you're having 70-80 percentile in CAT and you are from the ST category,there are a lot of chances you can be shortlisted by different IIM's.

Hello Krishna,

Well with your graduation percentage you will only be able to sit for CAT if you belong to reserved cast as the criteria is as follows:

Minimum Marks: Pass the above exam with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD categories).
