Well with your graduation percentage you will only be able to sit for CAT if you belong to reserved cast as the criteria is as follows:
Minimum Marks: Pass the above exam with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD categories).

just not like that,because the iit and iim students will only have many opportunities than other college students only within their campus placement drive.
but outside the campus, the excellent student with greater knowledge only can stand in this society.so this thought is not true.
