For IIMs , it takes admissions only after the release of CAT score. Wherein it consider academic profiles , past experience and certifications in some cases too. They give weightage to all these segments differently. But yeah CAT scores holds more weightage than past academic or job profiles.
Each IIM has its own criteria for the admission. Some of IIMs are heavily academics oriented and the shortlisting criteria based on multiple parameters like academic performance in class X, XII and Graduation programs as well as your score in CAT while some have not the same criteria. You should
Yes most of them do provide scholarship. Some are corporate based scholarships and others are sponsored scholarship. Scholarship based on need and merit is also available in few IIMs. Scholarship for reserved categories and specailly abled are also in the IIM's.

The selection and rating the criterias of selection in each IIM is different. Like in IIM A, check the criteria below:
Above 90 percentage the rating is 10 and below 55 percentage the rating is 1.
