Does IIM Lucknow provide BBA + MBA course?

Mrudul Vasant Naik 7th Oct, 2018

Hi Ayushi,

At IIM Lucknow, the courses provided are PGP, PGP-ABM, PGP-SM and nothing else except a few EPGP and FPM courses.

The BBA+ MBA course that you are talking about is the '5 year integrated program in management (IPM) ' course which is provided only by IIM Indore.

It is a Five year program and requires an entrance exam - IPMAT

It is a very good and highly competitive program.

Hope this helps!

All the best.

Hi, I came across the program of AMP of IIM Lucknow (jointly with BSE Institute). I want to understand how it can help me in my career ahead

Mrudul Vasant Naik 5th Oct, 2018

Hello Mr.Shaw,

The Advanced Management Program initiated by IIM Lucknow jointly with BSE Institute aims to shape business leaders or improve the skills in order to enable them in understanding the dynamics of the business in a better way.

The program curriculum is built on the Integrated Module Approach incorporating action learning methodologies which are further divided into multiple modules or perspectives which reflect real business challenges.

Some subjects that could help you are

  • Corporate Expansion
  • Customer-Driven marketing
  • International Political Analytical
  • Decision Sciences
  • Data Analytics

Given the work experience of 8+ years with a bank in the marketing sector, I would suggest you go ahead and join the program as it will benefit you by refreshing your perspectives which will, in turn, help your career growth.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

I have 72% in high school and I want to know how many percent can I have in 12 to get admission in iim lucknow

Nitika Agrawal 27th Jun, 2018

Hi. The cutoff for IIM Lucknow is at least 50% in +2 and a high percentile in CAT. All the IIMs consider CAT score for the admission. Getting a high percentile in CAT will land you in your goal.

Good Luck!

I am from nepal and i have done BBA from kurukshetra university. So what is the process for joining your institute for MBA in finance or HR.

Shivani sharma 10th Jun, 2018

Hi Dear,

according to me , first you must have 50% marks in your graduation , second you have to give CAT entrance exam and clear it with good score if you want IIM so you have to score 99%ile because competition is really high and after that they will call you for GD/PI round and you have to clear it and then you will get the admission in MBA in finance or HR in IIM lucknow.

i hope the information is helpful for you

for more queries just contact with us

thank you

good luck

I have converted PGPSM in iim lucknow what would be my chances for PGP Management course and PGP ABM? Will the merit list differ for these 3

Sreetama Datta 30th Apr, 2018

Hi Navya! Congratulations on the convert! The final admission result for all 3 programmes has been announced by IIM Lucknow. If you can see that you have converted PGPSM, but no mention has been made about PGP and PGP-ABM, that refers that you have not been able to convert the other 2 programmes.

My son was shortlisted in IIM Lucknow (Sustainability management), IIM Shillong, Trichy & IIT Mumbai & Delhi. Which is best?

Amod Tripathi 14th Feb, 2018
Though IIM Lucknow is the best institute but sustainability is a niche course and you should get into it if and only if you are very much interested in a career in sustainability management.

From the others IIT Bombay is better than IIT Delhi better than IIM Trichy. If you are not sure about your specialisation post MBA you should opt for a general management programme.

For other old IIMs like IIM K, L and I you need to have above 85+ percentile and 90+ to increase the probability of your conversion.
