The eligibility criteria for getting into IIMs is CAT exam. The MAT exam is not accepted by the IIMs.

So getting a good percentile in CAT only will get you a call from IIM.

You should choose TISS anyday as it is among the top two colleges in India providing HR courses. Next choice should be SCMHRD Pune followed by IIM Ranchi.

No, both institutes mentioned by you do not have state domicile quota. While IIM Ranchi follows the caste based reservation criteria as stated by the Govt. of India, XLRI Jamshedpur being a private institute does not have caste based or state domicile quota

Don't judge yourself before you appear in any of WAT & PI. You need to know one thing that in every IIM a new merit list is made after the second round of WAT & PI which includes marks of WAT & PI. And you should be glad to know
