The requirements are graduation with minimum 50% , a good communication skills  for growth and a good cat marks to score and if you have work experience its great .. thats all

Specifically, IIMs provide you PGDM course in finance not MBA. But yes , it is valued more than an MBA. So, yes like all other IIMs in India, IIM Sambalpur does provide finance course.

The admission is based on a valid CAT entrance exam score and later finalise admission on the overall performance of group discussion and a personal interview.

The final selection process of IIM Sambalpur will take place through the Common Admission Process (CAP) consisting of Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds conducted by and for the new IIMs.
