As per the updated information brochure available on the website of IISC Bangalore, till date there is no such course mentioned under the Division of Biological Sciences as B.Tech in Genetic Engineering course, however they have mentioned about their integrated PhD course in Genetics, under the Biological Sciences division. Ir order to keep yourself updated with the notifications provided by the institute, you need to check their website regularly.

Yes, you will be eligible to apply for admission to Under Graduate courses in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. But you can apply for admission only for two consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2. For instance if you have passed 10+2 in 2021. You can apply for admission in 2021 and 2022 only. If you pass 10+2 in 2022 you can apply for admission in 2022 and 2023 only. So if you are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2022 then you may take a year off and prepare for NEET UG and apply for admission in 2023 based on your NEET UG score. The candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects along with any other subjects. The candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have passed in the qualifying examination.

(a) Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Sciences/ Agriculture as applicable to individual discipline, under the 10+2+3/4 system, are eligible to apply to this program.
(b) The minimum requirement for admission to the Integrated Ph D programme is a FIRST CLASS or equivalent Grade in the Bachelor’s degree (as declared by the University) as indicated against each department.
(c) The minimum requirement of FIRST CLASS in the qualifying examination is relaxed to PASS CLASS for SC/ST candidates.
(d) Some departments have specific requirements of subjects at the Bachelor’s or 10+2 levels. Candidates have to ensure that they meet these requirements.

Yes, you can get admission in to Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore in Bachelor of Science course based on NEET UG score. IISc, Bangalore is offering Bachelor of Technology (Mathematics and Computing) Course from the academic year 2022-23, the candidates with valid JEE Advanced score will be eligible to apply for it.
The eligibility criteria to get admission to BS in IISc, Bangalore that you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in 2021 or must appear for 10+2 or its equivalent examination in 2022. So, with regard to your query, I wanted you to know that, IISC Bangalore does not provide the Btech course at all. It only offers Bachelor of Science (Research) which is a four year programme. However, In 4th, 5th and 6th semesters of your course, you can choose engineering as an elective subject. The candidates for this course are selcted through KVPY and JEE Mains exam and IEE Advanced exams.
