Candidate must be qualified in any one of the exams mentioned above and the exam result must be valid as on 01 August 2022. The eligibility to get admission is that a Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in 2021 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2022. The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects. The eligibility criteria for the BTech in Genetical Engineering suggests that the student must have passed 10+2 with certain percentage (decided by the institute you are taking admission in) in Physics , Chemistry , Biology / Mathematics . So yeah! If you have Biology then you can take admission in the BTech Genetical Engineering but for the admission to any engineering course you have to give some entrance. Now the engineering entrances three subjects such as Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. So you have to clear the Mathematics paper in entrance as the paper for all Engineering courses are the same.

I hope you are doing well. Unfortunately , the Indian institute of science situated in Banglore commonly known as IISC doesn't provide you B.Sc in biotechnology . They provide lots of programmes other than this like B.sc research in biology , B.sc research in chemistry , B.sc research in mathematics and so on.
