For admission in PG Programs, you can get admission through GATE and JAM.
For research programs, you should qualify NET.

If you want to apply for 2018, you are late. Since application for phd in iisc, banglore were invited in february-may,2018. They are short listen on behalf of their interview and marks in JAM.
