Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

Firstly, it's really nice to see that you have your goal set in mind that you want to get into IISc, and even though it's really tough, I'm pretty sure you will give your best to get in. Now that you don't have much coaching centres near you, it's not a problem and shouldn't be an obstacle for your dream, you can get enrolled in online courses as well.

To get into IISC , you have mainly two options:

1. JEE Mains

2. KVPY

If you score really good in both, you have good chances of getting into IISC. For you, we have a knockout course for JEE Mains, that will prepare you well for your JEE Mains examination, and it's completely online. You can access the videos at any time you want, you can attend countless live sessions by well versed professors, there will be plenty of mock tests and other exams as well to assess you through your daily revision.

To know more about it, find it here:

Hope this helps you. Good Luck !!

I had written neet two times one in 2019 n other in 2020 (I qualified my puc in 2019) I didnt get great marks in neet 2020, n now have joined bsc can I write neet in 2021 n get into iisc for ug courses

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 5th Nov, 2020

As of now, there is no upper age limit for NEET and there is also no cap on the no.of attempts at NEET. So as long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria for NEET, you can appear for NEET in 2021. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. If you are looking to prepare for NEET on your own, you can try our NEET Knockout package which is available at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . It has as many as 17 years previous question papers with almost 5000 videos and concept videos. This is backed by Artificial Intelligence and so you can study at the comfort of your house at your own pace.

which one should I choose for space science IITs,IIST, or IISc

Mithra Shaji 29th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant,

In order to study space science you're supposed to study at IIST which is Indian institute of Space science and technology. Also if you wish to work at ISRO this is the perfect degree for you to pursue.

At IIST there is a program that they offer called dual degree where you can finish your  B.Tech. degree in Engineering Physics and Master of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics in 5 years that is 10 semesters. For great opportunities one must have Masters of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics.Studying in IIST is advantageous as you stand out to the ISRO.

There are other degree options available in IITs as well for physics and astronomy but going with IIST would be good choice.Hope this was helpful to you.
