Hello aspirant,
Well you will not get a seat in IISc,Bangalore as because admission in IISc, Bangalore is done through JEE Advance and not JEE Main. So with your JEE Main percentile you can get a seat in NITs,IIITs or GFTIs but for IISc you need to clear JEE Advance. Now for getting a chance to clear Advance, you first need to be JEE Main qualified as per your category. Below I have provided 2019 JEE Main cutoff (percentile) category wise -
So if you have cleared the cutoff according to your category then you are JEE Main qualified and hence will be eligible to get seats in NITs,IIITs,GFTIs or if you want to seat for JEE Advance that will also happen. Now, to get seats in NITs,IIITs or GFTIs you have to go through JoSAA counselling. If you dont get a seat through JoSAA but is JEE Main qualified then you can apply for CSAB counselling to get seats in NITs,IIITs,GFTIs,SFTIs. For colleges that accept JEE Main score but doesn't participate under JoSAA , for them you have to attend their respective counselling session.
You can go through this link and checkout the details regarding JoSAA counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-counselling
Also, visit this link and check all the detailed information about CSAB counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab
Good Luck !!!!

Hi Venkateshwaran,
If your marks donot meet the requirements of IISc, the application cannot be submitted. If you have all the requirements ( appropriate NEET or JEE main score and Board marks) and still face problems submitting the application, then there might be an error with the website. Try again later.
All The Best.
Hi Harsh,
IISc Bangalore is a prestigious institute and the institute gives equal importance to all the streams. As for placements, IISc encourages research works and you can also go for further studies. Both Physics and Biology have equal importance in the field of research. IISc gives good placement opportunities, but pay wouldn't be very high. You can always opt for higher education. Pursuing further studies in abroad would ensure you a safe future in terms of money.
