Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
Hi Navadeep,
To join IISc for further studies, you can apply for integrated M.Sc-PhD programme. To apply for this, you would have clear IIT-JAM entrance exam. You can appear for this exam in your third year. Acquiring a rank less than 50 in this exam can ensure a placement in the institute.
All The Best.
Hey,
Your marks is really low for getting admission in an Institute like IISC. Please try for other colleges as it is impossible to get IISC.
You can check from the College predictor to know about the probable colleges you might get admission in.

Hello Abhijeet,
IISC Bangalore accepts admissions through various sources such as JEE Main, JEE advanced, KVPY.
The SC cutoffs of all these sources were the following respectively:
1) All the ranks upto 80 (category rank) of KVPY were called for counseling.
2) Ranks till 40000 (CRL) of JEE main are called for counseling.
3) Ranks till 16000 (CRL) of JEE advanced are called for counseling.
Best of luck.
Yes, you can refer to coaching's notes for preparation. It's your clarity of concepts and practice which eventually matter.
hello tanushri,
the query you was asked about the IIST
so you have done your home science degree with 2+2 criteria from clothing and textile
those students who are completed 12th standard with the main subjects of physics, mathamatics, chemistry are eligible to apply for the admmision for the IIST,bangalore
so you dont have a chance to apply
you must have main subjects physics ,mathematics, and chemistry
Hello Nikhita, you have pretty good Rank with that rank you are surely eligible for IITs (surely not the top one) but still you can get decent IIT but it seems quite impossible for you get a seat in IISC as it is very much in demand and also one of the best college in INDIA. So, all the best for future.
Hi Viji.
For admission to B.sc at IISC,
1.a candidate needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognised board of Education.
2.the candidate must also possess valid KVPY/JEE/NEET UG score.
Unfortunately the last date of submission of application was on April 30,2019. You should have checked this much earlier.
For further queries feel free to ask.
Good luck!
Dear aspirant,
IISc takes admission on basis of your kvpy score or your jee mains rakings . So if youhave opted for the jee mains option while filling the form for iisc you will be able to get admission if you clear the cut off. As for IISER they also take admission on the basis of your mains ranking . they also confuct there own entrance test you can select which option suits you the best .
So if you meet the cut off for IIsc and iiser then you will get admission on basis of your jee mains score.
